This medical exhibit pictures transurethral resection of the prostate gland, or TURP, from a mid-sagittal (cut-away) view. The image clearly depicts the anatomy of the male urogenital system showing the cystocope passing through the urethra and stopping to reopen the lumen which is mostly obstructed by the enlarged prostate gland. The urinary bladder is shown to be completely full. This graphic is intentionally left unlabeled to accommodate custom label requests.
